    Victory for Highlands Links Workers

    On December 22, Parks Canada workers at Highlands Links Golf Course received news that the course would remain a federally operated and maintained cility. This announcement ensured that 30 + members will remain public sector workers and continue to have the wages and benefits they deserve. Visit the Polital Action page for more information.


    Eastern Regional Bargaining Conference

    Faced with new challenges, about 200 PSAC members working for Treasury Board and Parks Canada geared up for the upcoming round of negotiations at the Eastern Regional Bargaining Conference in Montreal. (DETAILS)

    "PSAC President John Gordon golfed the Cape Breton Highlands' publicly owned golf course. Brother Gordon used the occasion to get a message to Parks Canada that privatization of this Golf Course is not in the public interest and it will hurt the tourism industry of Cape Breton."
