Federal government layoffs
Our union, along with concerned Canadians in communities across the country, has been working hard to save services and protect jobs.
Not only are public services under fire in the name of austerity and deficit reduction, we are now facing potential restrictions on our union's right to collect dues from our members and how the union and our members decide to use those dues.
In response, PSAC is putting in motion a new, unprecedented plan to push back these attacks and build our union member by member.
PSAC Local leaders are meeting to discuss the plan and to receive special training on how to organize members to respond to the latest Conservative threats.
