PSAC president, Toronto mayor to address union's national convention
TORONTO - The Public Service Alliance of Canada's 14th triennial national convention officially opens on May Day, celebrating the union's 40 years of achievement and change.
Who:
Nycole Turmel, outgoing PSAC National President, gives her report of the union's achievements in the last three years.
David Millar, Mayor of Toronto, welcomes delegates and brings an environmental message.
John Cartwright, President of the Toronto and York Region Labour Council, representing 190,000 union members in Canada's largest urban centre delivers a union message.
