PSAC to elect new National President
TORONTO – The Public Service Alliance of Canada is set to elect a new National President to replace retiring leader Nycole Turmel.
Delegates will also elect a full-time National Executive Vice-President (NEVP) and an alternate NEVP. All positions are for a three-year term. WHEN:
Friday, May 5, 2006 starting at 8:30 a.m.
Note: The convention room is sealed while the election process for each position takes place. The newly elected leaders will be available to the media following the completion of each election process.

MEDIA:
Space is available in the Metropolitan Ballroom for the media who are welcome to attend all convention sessions. Media are asked to check in at the PSAC's media room, located in the Bay Room, one floor below the Ballroom. Interviews can be arranged upon request.
