Compensation Consultant Selected

In September, AON was selected as the compensation consultant by the compensation analysis research service of the Public Service Labour Relations Board to conduct the enforcement and TC compensation studies.

The job of the consultant will be to collect data for the PSLRB on similar jobs from comparable Employers for a number of Treasury Board jobs that are either members of the TC bargaining unit or perform enforcement duties.

Determining which jobs are to be selected, who they are to be compared against and what is to be compared (e.g. wages) are all issues which the Treasury Board and the PSAC submit their respective positions on. If the parties disagree on any of the above, the PSLRB makes the final decision.

At this time, the parties along with the PSLRB and the consultant are finalizing the list of which jobs are to be included along with the general parameters of the study. Stay tuned for further updates.
