Sale of government buildings remains cloaked in secrecy
OTTAWA – Everyone wants to know more about the Conservatives' sale of some of the country's choicest real estate, but no one's getting answers, including members of the House of Commons Standing Committee on Government Operations and Estimates.
As the final day arrives for bids to be submitted, the Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) wants Canadians to know who will be the winners and losers in the biggest sell-off of Canadian assets in history. The union is calling on the Harper government to stop the sale.
