Resolution Adopted by the PSAC NBoD

Drug Card
WHEREAS the members have waited for years for a Drug card; and
WHEREAS it has now been discovered that there will be an even longer delay than the expected date of 2008;
BE IT RESOLVED THAT the PSAC take whatever action necessary to obtain as soon as possible a Drug Card for the membership; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the PSAC enlist the aid of the membership as soon as possible to exert pressure on the appropriate person(s) or body to obtain a Drug Card; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the PSAC push the PSHCP to ensure that proactive measures are taken so that members with high drug costs will have priority access to the drug card.
