DOUBLE STANDARDS: LAWS FOR EVERYONE ELSE BUT...

Most citizens in any country posses fundamental health and safety rights which are usually enshrined in law; these laws can be asserted and enforced through legal channels. Unfortunately, for workers under PESRA, these basic rights are denied and they are treated as second class citizens.

PARLIAMENT HAS EXCLUDED ITSELF FROM THE VERY LEGISLATION IT ENFORCES ON OTHERS.

Instead of legislation, Parliament offers its workers policies which have no legal enforcement. With the sad history of health and safety on Parliament Hill, legislation is necessary to preserve the health of workers.
